About Bankstown Community Garden
Bankstown Community Garden was established in 2014 on the grounds of Bankstown Public School by a passionate group of local residents.
We are continuing this vision and mission to fostering community engagement and promoting sustainable gardening practices in Bankstown. Our aim is to build a strong and inclusive multicultural education program for the school and greater community in the area.

It costs $1 to join Bankstown Community Garden and become a member. This entitles you to join our workshops for free and participate in planting and harvesting. We also have an Annual General Meeting once a year where all members can vote for the Executive Committee.

Our garden is communally run by keen gardeners and community members, so we don't have separate plots for hire. We are a space for people to come together and build a strong sense of community. By getting involved with us, you can stay active, improve your physical health, and learn about gardening and nature.
